hello to all at home. i am currently staying at a hostel in Martha's Vineyard. there are two other groups here. we are all in the common room now and we have to be quiet because it is past ten and people start sleeping past ten. HOWEVER...there is actually no one sleeping. Everyone has to shut up so No One can sleep. No One gets more respect than they deserve, i think. Well tonight i met one of the greatest people i know. He lives on the island. Hes a musician, an old man, young at heart, a father, a big thinker, and a lover. He entered the hostel this evening and set up his things to play some music. by the end of the third or fourth song many people started to add their hidden talents to the music. One woman played the spoons (really well) one harmonized with the man's singing many found things to use as a drum...and two of us took pictures. That would be myself and a young english woman who had a Canon Rebel that has a different name in Japan where she bought it. i had the chance to speak to the man for a moment when he let a young man from our group take the guitar and play something he knew. This guy is great. He just wants to spread the love and the peace. he offered me his email address before i left. from there i went to the ocean to watch the sun set and take pictures. it was very salty and very nice. I hope to do that again tomorrow night. Oh yeah....i biked 18 miles or so as well.
